Scholarships and Awards

The Koschitzky Centre for Jewish Studies offers a substantial number of scholarships, awards, and prizes to undergraduate and graduate students each year. Students are invited to apply for any awards they are eligible for. Please keep in mind the following:

  • All applications must provide the nameĀ and email address of a faculty member or a visiting professor who is affiliated with the Koschitzky Centre for Jewish Studies, and who agrees to support your award application. Applications without this information will not be considered. Please note that Awards are not guaranteed regardless of faculty support.
  • Many awards require students to demonstrate financial need. Students are strongly encouraged to fill out the Student Financial Profile before the March 1st deadline every year. Students should submit their financial profile along with their award application.
  • Several of the awards are only available to Canadian Citizens, Permanent Residents, Protected Persons, and/or Residents of Ontario. To be considered for the maximum number of awards, please make sure to fill the citizenship section of the application.

Awards are available to undergraduate students, graduate students, and students who wish to study in Israel for a summer, semester, or a full academic year. A list of all awards and their criteria can be found here.
